About Us

Founded in 2003, we are a proud copreneur Web shop focused on building long-term client relationships through our personalized Web services. Although we are a small business, we have strong business processes that rival those of a larger shop. Take a few minutes to learn about us and what we do. We're sure you'll agree.

History

We started in 2003 as two separate companies owned by Brett and Leila Johnson. Brett's company, Johnson Advisory Group, was focused on software training and advisory services. Leila's company, Johnson Solutions Group, was focused on customer service solutions, documentation, as well as software and soft skills training.

In 2004, we merged our companies into VelaMira Business Services, LLC and created the brand Data-Scribe™. It was at that point that we began offering Web site services.

Then, in 2007, we incorporated to become VelaMira, Inc. Later that year, we officially registered our servicemark, Data-Scribe®.

Throughout the years, we have always remained as owners and managers of the company.

Today

We continue as a New Mexico-based, woman-owned, minority-owned firm providing Web solutions to small businesses and nonprofit organizations across the country. At any given time, we have about 30 active clients using a variety of our services.
