A/E/C Web Site Bootcamp

This bootcamp is designed for architectural, engineering, and constructions owners, managers, or staff who are or will be responsible for their firm's Web site. We use two popular open source content management systems (CMS), Drupal and Joomla!, that don't require technical expertise.

Instructors: The bootcamp is led by Data-Scribe's owners who are Web strategists and Drupal/Joomla! specialists.

Location: We conduct sessions either online/virtually or in person. 

Agenda: Each session runs from 9a to 4p. Bootcamps are limited to 6 attendees. Computers are provided.

• Day 1 - Web Strategy Day: Web terminology; Assessing your target market; Web site and online marketing options; Planning your Internet presence

• Day 2 - Hands-on Training Day: Learn to use Drupal and Joomla!; Assess their use for your firm; Web site maintenance and updates

• Day 3 - Build Your Site Day: Select the CMS you would like to use (Drupal or Joomla!) and begin creating your firm Web site. Data-Scribe® instructors will circulate around the room to assist with the process and answer questions. At the end of the class, you can make a copy of the files and database to bring back to the office.
