Drupal Camp Colorado

We had the opportunity to make a trip to Denver to take part in our first Drupal Camp. What a blast! If you're not sure what Drupal is, please sign up for one of our intro sessions.

On July 26th and 27th, a group of devoted Drupalers put together a great conference combining virtual and in-person presenters. You can learn more about the Drupal Camp on their site.

Here are just some of the highlights of the conference:

  • It was only $10 per person and the value was probably 100 times that
  • We learned some new ways to create custom themes in Drupal from a 12-year old based in Poland
  • We met the programmers who developed some of the modules that we use quite often
  • We met representatives from another Albuquerque-based company that is focused on open source
After the conference, we were inspired to get the Drupal buzz going in Albuquerque. We will be teaming up with the company that we met to do just that. If you live out here, make sure to signup for the first ever Albuquerque Drupal Meetup on Saturday, September 13th. Hope to see you there!
