Your organization's confidential information is a valuable asset. It is our absolute goal to protect this from unauthorized disclosure. Just as we expect others to respect our company's information, Data-Scribe® respects the confidential information of your organization.

What does this mean to our clients?

Examples of confidential information may include: administrative, sales, marketing, customer, manufacturing or technical information.

Specific examples may include: financial data; trade secrets; sales figures; information about employees, customers, donors, or suppliers; wage and salary data; earnings projections; testing data; plans to improve products; documents containing product formulas or drawings; records of invention; technical reports; proprietary methods and processes; pricing and profit information; and information about future products, services, marketing, advertising programs or management changes.

Our responsibility

  • It is our responsibility to know what security precautions must be taken to protect our client's information while working with you.
  • We use appropriate security precautions for confidential information. This applies to electronic information and voice mail, as well as to documents.
  • When applicable, Data-Scribe® adheres to HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.

  • Non-disclosure agreement (NDA), provided by the client or by us. This indicates that we will only use your data and information for the purpose you intended.

Ethics

Business ethics sometimes can be rare in our society. We do our best to recognize and maintain a professional degree of ethics when working with our clients at all times. Before any work is performed, Data-Scribe® internally evaluates information using the following criteria:

  • Is this work that we would be proud to have in our portfolio?
  • Is the information actually confidential information?
  • Was the information obtained illegally or unethically?
  • Would using the information violate any other business conduct principles?
  • Would the work violate any laws or regulations?
