Dekker/Perich/Sabatini

Industry:
Architectural
Project Type:
Web site

The Situation: Dekker/Perich/Sabatini had a static, traditional Web site that was stale in design and function. As a prominent architectural design firm in the Southwest with a strong reputation for customer service and design excellence, DPS felt it was time to upgrade the site to reflect those values and showcase their projects.

The Problem: DPS wanted to upgrade the static HTML Web design into something that was flexible, easy for the staff to maintain, and improved their overall search engine rankings. In its prior state, only one individual was able to make necessary updates to the site. DPS wanted to create the designs for the the site and have them applied to a non-Flash based content management system. They wanted the site to be scalable in functionality and design while providing a central database of content.

Our Solution: To meet the needs of DPS, we utilized Drupal (a content management system) and programmed their custom designs to fit within the system. We provided a method for them to showcase and continually update their design projects and latest news. The system will allow for the growth of the site and additional functionality when DPS is ready. We continue to provide consultation, training, and Web programming services as needed to DPS.

The Result: DPS Marketing and IT staff now can easily maintain their current company's Web presence from a central system without affecting the overall design. They have received positive feedback from within and outside of the company. They are in a position of improved Web traffic and equipped to grow into the scalable system.

Client Quote:
"Data-Scribe is a pleasure to work with. They are very accommodating to our constant (and usually last minute) changes and requests and their technical abilities are top-notch. We are very satisfied with our new website - it looks great and performs even better! The content management system allows us to update it quickly and easily and we are excited to begin the next phase of our ‘project’ – to continue exploring the world of Drupal and begin adding new content and features to our site!"
