The Situation: The California Housing Consortium (CHC) wanted the staff to be able to update their site content easily while taking advantage of enhanced features. Also, wanted a better way to manage membership information.
The Problem: They didn't have as much control over their Web site. Content was not updated as often as requested causing members to miss out on timely information. Their 4,000+ contact records were decentralized.
Our Solution: We used Drupal and CiviCRM to redesign this site. CHC now has enhanced membership management and community-oriented features such as a blog, news feeds, donations, and event registration. We also created private group mini-sites that allow the board and other stakeholders to communicate between themselves and receive the latest news, documents, and information.
The Result: The CHC staff update content on a semi-daily basis and stay in regular contact with their members via e-mail.
2011 Update: The client has since redesigned the site. The screenshot below shows how it looked when completed in 2007.
